My vision with my books is to ignite in children the love I have of what is possible with language - the fun you can have with sounds and puns and spelling. It is my hope that my books teach the basic principles (literacy, the alphabet, numeracy, etc.) while also being visually and thematically appealing and engaging the reader's interest. And by reader I mean both the children who are learning to read and the parents (and awesome aunts, like me, older siblings, other relatives and teachers) who have to read and reread the books with them.
